Charlie is 14. His biggest problems should be GCSE Music Tech, being allowed to see his favourite band play, and which John wrote "La Belle Dame Sans". But maybe he just doesn't want that to be true. After all, he isn't used to things being easy. That could be why he picks up a drug-addicted school dropout, and lusts after his 19-year-old drummer. Or maybe it's just life - and he's quickly learning from his self-appointed counsellor (erm, girlfriend) that you shouldn't overanalyse everything...
